The congregation of the sisters of the Cross was founded by Mother Claudine Echernier and Father Peter Mermier in 1838 at chauanod in France. She stated this congregation decided to serve the needy and the educate the youth to transform the society. A beautyful soul left the world due to sickness on 10 August at Dawn just as the bed was ringging to wake up the community.
